After a little summer break we are back again! ready for action and with many new projects and ideas in mind. So what’s to come? We are rehearsing new material for our next-to-come EP with the working-title ‘THE BLACK EP’ which is going to contain 5-6 songs. Guests are George Vaine, Angelo Repetto (Telaphones/I Signori Misteriosi, who’s also the producer of the work) and Ramon Vaca (producer of HAPPY NOW and BAD WEEDS GROW tall). The whole thing is going to be recorded at ZAK JONA on Friday, Juli 30. Everything is going to be recorded live, NO OVERDUBS: You’ll get the real JESH-LIVE-SHIT. It will be our hardest and punkiest work ever which sticks more to our real live attitude. Right, no bullshitting (we leave that to Pegasus). The EP will be sold on our concerts for 10 bucks or you’ll get it for free if you buy one of our albums. The tracks will appear to download for free on our website(s) like facebook, myspace and so on blah blah.

ANNOUNCEMENT: There will be another JESH-video in October! ‘HALLOWEEN’ will get its filmic face. We won’t tell you the idea but it’s going to be fucking crazy. Creators will be Angelo Repetto and my humble self who have founded the I SIGNORI MISTERIOSI creative label.

But now enjoy our brand new music video to our new single from the album BAD WEEDS GROW TALL entitled ‘CITY’. It is a mix of our ON-TOUR and LIVE-experiences. The single itself is gonna be sent to radio stations within the next week.

We are back from Canada - alive and kicking! We have had a great time over there, fantastic concerts in front of fantastic people, hanged out with freaks of all kinds, pulled all-nighters, had musical moments in the motorhome and have just been enjoying ourselves. Many many stories to tell but don’t know where to start. It was really hard for us to come back. But will be back for sure! Thx to everyone who has made it possible, especially Lucie Pinard from Sherbrooke and Mister Max from Montréal. We got plenty of film material which is gonna be used for our new music video for the ‘BAD WEEDS GROW TALL’-song CITY.

CONCERT TOMORROW MAY 27: Tomorrow we are about to rock the inner city of DARMSTADT DE on a very small stage at the SCHLOSSGRABEN FESTIVAL. Let’s see what is waiting on us there.

The time has come: JESH are flying across the pond bringing along their guitars and film cameras to rock CANADA and THE UNITED STATES. On the schedule: Travelling all along the Canadian east side down to New Hampshire USA in a camper and playing eight shows (list below) within two weeks. Everything will be documented in sound and vision. AND: we are going to make another JESH music video over there. YAY!!!

Because of some ridiculous criminal proceeding pending against our guitarist Phil he unfortunately can’t join the tour. That’s the bad fucking news. But the good news are: Lukas Langenegger alias GEORGE VAINE is taking over! A very talented fella recently catched the public’s eye by opening for Sophie Hunger in Switzerland. You can see him in the SIGNORI MISTERIOSI videos (read post below).

BIG THANKS TO LUCIE - WHO HAS BEEN WORKING HER ASS OFF FOR GETTING OURS OVER THERE. muahahaha.

That’s just the way The Beatles would have done it isn’t it? Be there! It doesn’t cost anything and the weather is shiny and gorgeous. So where the heck? At the new VIADUKT (Bogen 18) in Kreis 5! Eight musicians of four different bands get together without knowing each other too well or having played together ever. It’s like in a swingers club: one does what one can do best: MUSIC! 

I SIGNORI MISTERIOSI is a project which promises freedom to do whatever one wants. Tobey Lucas of JESH and Angelo Repetto of the TELAPHONES cast a net and got some real big fish… Some people may call it a chaotic mix-up others may simply talk about “Zurich’s Finest”: Oliver Baroni of HILLBILLY MOON EXPLOSION, supernatural master of the contrabass, Tobey Lucas, Phil Strickler and Chris Filter, the well-​known-​and-​hated fellas of the rock-post-punk combo JESH who are about to tour Canada and the US in May, George Vaine of GEORGE VAINE, a fantastic singer and amazingly talented guitar player as well as Angelo Repetto, Adrian Schindler and Claudio Decurtins of the tremendous TELAPHONES who made their mark by playing on Chinese TV making millions of teenagers scream and who are working on their third studio album.
With “YER BLUES” by THE BEATLES, “SUBTERRANEAN HOMESICK BLUES” by BOB DYLAN and “THESE BOOTS ARE MADE FOR WALKING” by NANCY SINATRA the SIGNORI come up with three classics - played, recorded and filmed in a very spontanously planned session. When you watch the videos or listen to the three tracks, you will trouly feel the fun the guys had playing together…
